Everyone loves the August Long Weekend, so why doesn't it have an official name? As an appreciator of long weekends, Hotels.com called on Canadians to come together to officially #NameThatWeekend. Check out the case study below, and if you have some time, check out the campaign videos too.

Communication Arts - Shortlist

It all started with a launch video:

We then compiled a shortlist, and let Canadians vote on their favourite using the Twitter Conversational Poll unit.

Once a winning name was announced, we started a petition to officially make the first Monday of August a federal holiday, and name the weekend the Longust Weekend.
